quickly becoming my favorite (new) show to crop up, especially with 30 rock and office taking the season off to be not as funny, Community has risen to the top of my Thursday night musts. Anchored by the Soup’s Joel McHale, the show got off to a quick start thanks to his presence(whether you know him or not) and was quickly boosted by the gorgeous Gillian Jacobs. Soon, the quick, witty writing took center stage and Danny Pudi and Donald Glover became the power duo. But quite recently, Alison Brie has become that standout character, Adderall fueled, neurotic, do-gooder perfectionist that she plays. Did I mention she’s gorgeous? Amuse me, I haven’t done any [women] posts yet. Did I also mention she is on Mad Men as Mrs Trudy Campbell? Double duty on two great shows. Watch Community(even online here or hulu), not just for her, it really will soon be the only thing NBC has in its arsenal worth a damn. [/bitterness]
